If you’re lucky enough to have one of these in your area (most are in Florida), you need to stop in. Food’s pretty good, but the atmosphere is great. All Model A’s - but pretty cool restaurant.
And make sure you check out the ‘recycling center’ while you’re there.

If my short term memory gets any shorter, I won’t even have thought about what I’m going to forget.

Looks like maybe a "spinoff" of what we've had for years, starting in PA.
Quaker Steak & Lube. Hot wings is the specialty and gearhead stuff.

Re: Fords Garage
I am torn by places like this. While I like the old stuff and the ambiance it creates,
most times it is just lots of fake and contrived signs and "artifacts" that ultimately
draw in the crowds of old fat white pasty dudes, in their hot rod T-shirts, shorts, and
sandals with socks. If they are car guys, they are the type that have the 60's muscle
car with the 70's mags and feel compelled to leave the hood up ... just not my idea
of what the car scene should be. "Oh, look ! .... a predictably overchromed engine
under there !"
A well executed place with genuine old junk would be really cool to see. There is a
restaurant in Helena, Montana that displays a pretty large collection of old porcelain
signage and neon. The food is good, and the atmosphere great. But when the signs
read "Chevy Parking Only" and the cardboard cutouts of Elvis and Marilyn appear, that's
when DB crew wants to jamb the parking lot with Gold Wings and Mustangs and Chevelles
and the whole idea goes south for me.

More people are doing it today than ever before !

Re: Fords Garage
Just ate at Ford's Garage in Dearborn, Michigan. This one did have Model T on display. Napkins were Ford blue wipe towels in stainless hose clamps. Food excellent!
