Double celling fan

I have a double celling fan from the late 20s or early 30s. I have been told that there are very few of them left and they are coveted by fan collectors with a very substantial value. I may sell it, but do not know where to list it. It seems complete and when plugged in, runs. Here is a photo of it. Any comments. I found one listed on line and it was a restored one with how appreciated the owner was of finding one.

I'm enjoying the photo Darel. Those old electrical devises are visual perfection. The braided insulation and holes in castings sure bring back some memories.
Best of luck in your decision.

This is a special item and the market is limited to those who are familiar with what it is. I want to reach those who know. Is there a "fan" club?

I know of those modern ones. A fan collector once told me that the value could be enough to buy a nice restored early Model T. Time will tell. I am going out to seek a fan club to get more up to date data.

I joined the forum of the fan club and now know that it was made in the early 20s and that the company probably ceased around 1924. It was based on an early patent from around 1902 and the that company was assorbed by Nationa Screw Co. that made my fan.
