Re: Services - new Forum setup
Like. As long as it's not advertisements for Ronco type junk and stuff unrelated I'm thinking it's a good idea. Good job.

I think this is a great idea. I have a few thoughts turning within. I hope we could encourage members who are artisans in their own right, who make or do things we need, and support them. My concern is the need to draw the lines now as to what this will look like soon.
Thank you.

I agree it is a great idea, but I am easy to get along with. If this is where the Mods want my ad to be, I am perfectly fine with it. For the most part this is a great group of guys (& ladies) & I have made many friends over the years on here. About a dozen or so I converse regularly via email, messages & by phone giving each other belly grabbing laughter with comments that cannot be posted here publiclyKen Buhler wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 1:26 amI think this is a great idea. I would also encourage the guys who make that particular hard to find "widget" in their home shops to advertise their service in this section for the guys who need them.
It would also be nice if the Mods would install a "5 Day Bump Rule" for this section to stop the incessant & immature need to be on top by some. Unfortunately this would probably cause more self "back patting" to happen in the General & Off Topic sections in a lame attempt to be relevant.
However it turns out, I am sure it will be fine!
God Bless

This is a great service to us all. There are some folks who work on a very small scale who will find this a valuable tool and may be encouraged that they do not have to set up a website or do other sorts of time consuming & expensive marketing.

I have a taper leaf rear spring that I bought disassembled. It appears to be undamaged, and complete.
Can anyone rebuild / reassemble this spring?
Please let me know.

the best was the ronco hand in the face... it was a headband with a wiggly spring on the front and at the end of the spring a cardboard hand. this was to practice shooting basketball. the hand moved around and blocked your vision. classic.tdump wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 12:43 pmI had forgot all about Ronco until I saw where it was mentioned above.
