Re: HCCT (Hand Crank Coil Tester) Meter Repair
I have a KRW magneto tester meter. Do you know if these were made by Weston?
Can you repair one of these?
Thanks!

I believe those were made by Hoyt.
Post a photo and I could tell more.

Re: HCCT (Hand Crank Coil Tester) Meter Repair
It's an absolute damn shame that well over a dozen posts for the same service are constantly being posted to the top, driving every single other service provider further and further down the page. If all of the services simply posted once, it would be a short list that could be easily scanned by eye without even having to scroll down.
I don't blame you in the least for bumping, since that is the game's rules as presently defined. I thought the intent was to have a "list" of service providers, but was obviously naive. I briefly considered reposting every single time I made a new part, but felt that doing so would be patently unfair to folks like yourself trying to do the righteous thing. It is still obviously an option. Perhaps you could post a picture of every restoration you do, to keep on the top...I know I wouldn't blame you as the precedent has been set. Sorry this post wasn't timely to where it would have boosted you to the top.
You do lovely work and it is worthy of being seen.

Re: HCCT (Hand Crank Coil Tester) Meter Repair
I now have the warrenty label for Weston ammeters.
These are property tag type labels.
Once installed they cannot be removed without destroying them.
If I have previously restored your Weston HCCT meter, I will send you one for free.
Send an email or message via this forum and I will drop one in the mail.

Re: HCCT (Hand Crank Coil Tester) Meter Repair
Allen HCCT meter mount plates are now available.
I had some cast recently (raw castings shown).
These are cast from aluminum.
Original ones were cast iron (or steele).
This part is commonly missing or broken.
Contact me if interested.

Re: HCCT (Hand Crank Coil Tester) Meter Repair
Just back from the foundry, HCCT Spark Rings.
This piece is many times missing or broken.
These are cast from brass-bronze.
They still need to be machined before they are ready.
Let me know if you are interested.
