OCF REUNION?

Post by Marty Bufalini » Thu Aug 03, 2023 5:09 pm

Anybody game for a third annual forum reunion at the Old Car Festival this year? They seem to be better attended every year.

Did someone last year mention a potluck?

Last year I think the agreed on time and place
was about 3pm on Saturday at the far end of the activities field.

Let me know of any interest on this thread.

Hi Marty, Count me in! Yes, I also think last years get together was at 3 pm Saturday and I know it was at the far end of the activities field. I remember fondly going for a ride in Robs Model B & that doesn't happen every day....

Personally, I think a pot luck would be a lot of work. Probably better would be to just go to the restaurant near the Chapel. Of course the timing in all this is important as we don't want to miss out on the evening gaslight parade!!!

Cheers, Keith

I aim to be there. The trouble with a potluck is that most of us are not local and probably won't have a kitchen with us. :)

Marty

Last year you called it the third annual reunion. Is this a groundhog day moment? Always the third annual.

Looking at last years, it was at 4PM so Steve could eat his dinner on time.

How are you going to top riding in Rob's B?

Great photo of the T's! You could age it in Photoshop etc. and make it even better!

DHort: Is this really our fourth year!?

I’m going to split the difference and say 3:30 Saturday same place, station—sorry that’s the broadcaster in me coming out.

This will be my 50th consecutive OCF. Considering that last October, less than a month after seeing all of you, I came within a couple of hours of death, I’m looking forward to another 50 and more reunions.

3:30 is fine. At my age this could be my last, so I'd better be there. :D
