A friend in NJ who collects old tools recently acquired this Ford script hubcap wrench. I don't have the measurements on it but do know the large opening is much bigger than the Model T hubcap. Note it also only has two openings in it. I've asked a couple of other Model T tool guys what it is and they are also wondering. Can anyone tell us what year and vehicle it was used on?

I thought perhaps tractor also, but tool collectors have told me those were marked "Fordson" rather than just Ford.

Early V8.
Probably fit my '35 oil pan drain plug.

It is probably for the ton and ton-and-a-half trucks of the '30s and maybe as late as the early '50s. They used a simple steel hub cap on the rear axle that was larger and more plain than the TT hubcap. I don't know what the AA used, but that wrench looks newer than that to me. Somewhere in my junk I have one of those later truck hubcaps. I was told it went into the early '50s.
I am not a hundred percent sure however. I "think" the cap I have was a hex and not a oct, but am not certain.
