The forum police keep adding unnecessary rules, regulations, and requirements to a forum that once was uncluttered, free from constant editing and fun. When will it end.

Completely agree with you Perry. The old forum was awesome. This one lacks the charm and wholesome characteristics of the old forum.

Ten?
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Re: Ten Character minimum for message???
Having had something to do with forum software I expect it's just that a version upgrade will have introduced some standard conditions that weren't there before, and which the admins may or may not wish to alter at some stage. A bit like the loss of location detail that occurred - possibly at the same time.
A chr minima is an option that's enforced on some fora, I agree it can be frustrating for those witty one or two word responses but it's intended to combat other issues that can occur. Usually some spaces or dots will fit in nicely if needed.
Just FYI, as I'm sure you're all aware, there's a fair bit that goes on behind the scenes in running a successful forum, it can be quite a lot of work...

Eh? Don't you mean 40!
It's 2022 we've got watch out for:
