I have 2 sets of these brackets on Ford lamps. What is the story, aftermarket?

There were hundreds of marques of automobiles that used fork mounted headlamps, both acetylene and electric. They could be from any of many dozens of them. And Ford headlamps often wound up on non-Ford cars simply because they were readily available.
And they could just as well be after-market.

On a lot of early cars headlights were optional and so were the forks, Studebaker also used the same lights and forks. It is conceivable that a car could have come from the factory minus the headlights and were later installed with aftermarket units.
