The MTFCA is pleased to announce that a new book authored by Bob Cascisa and Ron Patterson will soon be available for purchase.

The HCCT Handbook will be available to ship starting March 1, 2020. Pre-ordering is available now by calling the MTFCA Business Office at 765-373-3106. It will be listed in the MTFCA Online Store March 1.

The book is $38.00, plus $9.50 shipping within the U.S., $12.50 shipping to Canada. Shipping to other countries will be quoted on request.

The MTFCA is offering a special one-time price of $35.00 if the book is purchased at the Chickasha Swap Meet in March. They will be sold at Ron Patterson and Bob Cascisa booths.

The following review of the book is in the Jan-Feb 2020 issue of the Vintage Ford, which is in the mail now.

A little clarification concerning the "HCCT Handbook" is in order. The authors, Bob Cascisa and Ron Patterson, approached the MTFCA Board of Directors last year and told us they were planning on writing the handbook to document information concerning the HCCT. The offer to the board was to donate the rights and all sales of the publication to the Model T Ford Club of America. The board approved and the handbook is now available. Mike Vaughn and myself were asked to review the handbook which we did. To recap, Bob and Ron donated rights to the MTFCA and all profits from the sales support the MTFCA.

The accusations and truths about Mike Kossor's products, and technical facts, have been well documented here the past few years. So, if Mike would donate his profits from his research and products to the MTFCA, like vendor Ron Patterson & his co-author will be doing from their new book, would that give Mike " one of the boys" status like those two are enjoying ??? ... not being barred from expressing or detailing facts about the products ???? .... and promoting product like Regan, Patterson and others have done in the past. Anyone who devoted their time, effort and finances into bettering our hobby with items that have been proven, with positive responses from our Model T fraternity should be supported, not chastised .

I now know the answer to my question on whether anyone has received their HCCT Book Copy.

My copy came today!

It has excellent and sharp color photos and lots of them!

A very good book to have and buy!

We will have several copies at the winter tour and if any are left they will be at our booth at Chickasha.

Please hold a few for those us who have planned to buy it at Chickasha like the above article says. It's probably not too late to get more made, either. Thanks.

I received mine yesterday . Really nice book lots of pictures and explanations. Funny thing I have a Goss HCCT That they said was kind of rare. Maybe I’ll have to restore it.

Well, “best laid plans,” I guess. Time to order this online. I’ve been looking forward to reading it about as much as going to Chickasha, so I guess at least I’ll get to do one of the two this year.
