Not really, but if it is truely noticable ao a real extent, then something is maladjusted, which may be why you're asking.

For starters, I'd move the stay bars back and retighten the lock nut. They should not be set with zero clearance on the brake band tabs. The bands should be able to float fore/aft on them in all circumstances from fully "off" to fully "on".

Scott - the installation & adjustment docs. that come with the repro R.M. brakes from Bud say to adjust them just as Don has them. The instructions also state to attempt to set a clearance of approx. .030 all around which involves slight manipulation of ALL the mounting & hardware points !

Your rear supports are a little to perfect. Need to loosen the nut and recenter in the slots. This should do the trick.

An item to not overlook is the brake rods. I was able to get mine pretty much drag free by a lot of tweaking of them but seem to be great now.
