I have a ford model t touring 1920. I have 6v electric headlights . I purchased the headlight retaining wire for the headlights as mine were missing but cannot figure out how they install. Can someone send me a picture of how they fit? And if there are any tricks to installing them please let me know.
Thanks

The ends fit together sorta like your hands grasping the backside of your arms at the wrist then are fitted behind the reflectors. They push the reflector against the glass then as a seal there is a rope that fit in the groove in the reflector.

Thanks but do the U in the wire go through the cutouts in the reflector edge? I just can't seem to get them to fit so was't sure if I was missing something.
Thanks

Or do they just sit behind reflector and push forward?

Did you open the 2 links and look at the illustration/photos? They both show pretty well how things fit.

Spring wire lays in the groove around the bucket, the ends join hands. The repro are made of larger dia. wire so the fit is tougher than original reflector springs.
