I came across this the other day. Looks like a '26 and appears to have a rectifier on the back where the ammeter would be. Would appreciate some info on it. Thanks

Looks like a TT SWITCH for 26/7 non generator maybe even starter. There were model T cars that came out with all the fancy stuff too. Who needs a stinking generator, who needs a starter & who needs 21 inch wheels.

Non starter car with Magnito lights, the transformer—inductor is the dimmer.

1926 non starter Roadster and touring.
With this swicht go no demoutable wheels, petrol side lights and a Model O tail light.
The starter holes and the generator hole are covered with strait metal plates.
Behind the place where the Amp. meter should be, there is a coil resistant to make the difference between high and low front light with the magneto current.

I just have a photo of the tail and side lights. They came with my 1926 touring ( engine number is late 1925).

Are 26-27 magneto lights as miserable as magneto lights from the teens? I can't imagine having to dim mag lights.

The 1926 touring I found had no starter or generator but I never try to run the car with only the magneto. In the wiring was no wire for the generator and the switch was missing.

As I rebuild the car, I did it with the starter and generator and set a total new wiring in the car.
