Any recommendations for an inexpensive car cover? 1924 touring to be exact. Looking for something while on multi day tours. Generic covers would be ok.

A minivan car cover from your local auto supply (or internet source) usually fits a touring car fairly well.

Actually a jeep wrangler cover fits absolutely perfect on my 24 Touring

On occasion when transporting a vehicle
I will stop at a Walmart Supercenter and
visit the automotive department to see
if they have any car covers on sale.

Usually they have a few for as little as $10.

They ain't no $10 but I got the one that Lang's sells for my late dad's unrestored '23 Canadian 23 coupe. Couldn't be happier. Fits great, easy to put and take off, dustproof, and quite water resistant; very important to protect what's left of the original interior.

FWIW, several years before getting that cover, I bought a "surplus" cover from a very well known and well-advertised car cover firm. I had to send it back for alteration as it would not fit my '14 touring well at all. They did a sorta OK job and it's now usable, though the fit still isn't super great. The main thing I dislike about it is that while it does a decent job of keeping rain out of the car when it's outside, it lets dust right through when it's inside. When I uncovered the car that first spring, it was as dusty inside as though I hadn't covered it at all.

I just bought one from Langs for my '13 touring.

Try Henry's Car Covers... they usually have sales. I like the one I got for my '17 touring.

Sew old flat sheets together.., they breath well, keep dust off, and they wash up well!

I am looking for a lightweight rain cover for my roadster (torpedo). Not looking for indoor dust cover. Just want rain protection when I am on tour and would like to cover the car at night. Anyone know of reputable car cover companies that are familiar with Model T's?

I was going to suggest flannel sheets.

I get mine from california car cover. They fit well. 23 touring, 27 R/P top up. 14 raodster. Cost a little more than langs. They are expensive, but will last forever inside. I get 3 years life outside storage.
Jeep or mini van fits alls for economy.

Another vote for the car cover that Langs sells. I believe it is drop shipped from another supplier, but I like to give Langs my business. It fits perfect on my ‘23 Touring. You can see my post here towards the bottom of the thread:

You might want to call them so they understand your body style. The one I got fits great on my touring. It also fits my 1952 Willys Jeep.

I use a California car cover also and they are pretty expensive when you compare them to the cheap Walmart/Autozone ones.
But it's important to purchase a car cover that will actually block UV rays, keep moisture from staying inside the cover, and has material that won't trap dirt in the interior of the cover which could scratch your car.
