How sad. What's wrong with this fricking world? If there's anything good to come out of it, it would only be they stole it
to USE it and enjoy it. Otherwise....

Usually they pull the car out, steal the trailer, and off they go. These trailers make for great, temporary, mobile meth labs!

Actually, the trailer was stolen with the car in it. The trailer was later found with the car missing from it.
