I've had the privilege to see it in person. It truly is a beautiful car, probably more so in person if that’s possible. Congratulations Ricky on finding the car of your dreams.

Funny story that goes with the car. I was looking for a 1912 running board bracket a few weeks ago on the forum. A man called me who had two. I asked him if he had an oil pan. He said no but he had a friend that did. I got in touch with the friend about the oil pan and he started telling me about his 1912 Delivery Car. I told him that was the car I had always wanted. He replied "It can be yours" . I told him yeah but I would have to sell a kidney to buy it. Here we are a month later and it's mine. I have to pee a little more often but what the heck!

For many years, beginning in 1931, Helms Olympic Bakery maintained a fleet of delivery trucks that cruised southern California residential neighborhoods. The driver would blow a distinctive whistle to let folks know he was on their block, and they would come out to the truck to buy their bread, doughnuts, cookies, and other baked goods. A memory-making part of the experience was smelling the heavenly aroma when the driver opened those back doors. Does this delivery have drawers for the products?
The inevitable often happens.

I doubt if that 1912 has drawers like the old Divco Helms trucks. To me, it's a shame whoever restored that truck put brass step plates on the beautiful running boards. Some people like them, and some people don't. I recently restored a 1913 roadster which had holes drilled for a tool box. It was a lot of work to get rid of them. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

It doesn’t have draws but it did come with an original wood crate with the same logo. The company was from 1893.

Hi Bill!
Well kidneys may be overrated, UNTIL they let you know who's boss! My right kidney told me that 2 sundays ago with a trip to the ER. This friday it's a trip to the surgery center to blast the stone that wont budge!
