I first made a template out of cardboard. I shaped the cardboard using a band saw and drill hole. After, creating a pattern I used it to make my wood floor.
If you need more information contact me.

Thanks for the imformation, my problem is my motor is in another state being rebuild. It won't be back till end of the year. I am trying to have the car finished when it get back. That why I can't make a pattern. I thought there might be a blue print out their. This is my first t project.

Jim: Here is a print of the bottom board, the one in front of the seat, from the Funprojects website. I suspect this one is the 'easiest' one to make. best, jb

Art,where were you a couple years ago with that "tip'?

I scratched my head bare trying to figure it out and finally just decided 1 day to lay some boards together, make it way to wide and trim it down.

My son and I glued the board together and trim the board using the pattern. Good luck Jim.

The best way is to buy them from Jon Anderson. They are exact to the factory specs and fit perfect.

Jim, I would like to ask did you not have a floor boards when you acquired your car?
Something I have seen is a pre 1925 T that has had a 1926-7 pedals, transmission cover or even a complete engine assembly. The pre 1925 pedals can be bothersome because they are narrow. I am saying this because the pedal spacing on the 1926-7 is different and requires a custom floor board.

Getting them from Jon is the best idea. If not, find originals to copy, and be sure to rabbet the front and back sides. They were never varnished.

Don't expect dimensional lumber to fit. For my '26 Runabout I had to plane the boards to 9/16" to fit into the body's flanges and under the front board hold-down. The white panel in the photo is a piece of 1/4" hardboard that I used as a template for the upper board.

Here's mine made from Poplar. So close they'd only fit this car. Your problem is no eng/trans in place. I'd definitely wait for it to be back in place. Anything else would be a crap shoot.
