Hubcap and Spindle thread chaser.

Post by Pep C Strebeck » Sat Mar 07, 2020 10:29 pm

Yesterday my son spent a long day at an auction for me and was able to bring home a couple of the things that I was interested in, plus a few "other" things. One of the items that he got and brought to me was this thread chaser for Model T hubs and hubcaps.

I have seen a lot of different styles of the thread chasers before, but I have never seen this one before. It is most definitely for a Model T hub thread and I would like to know if anyone else has seen a thread tool like this one before.

It is a well made and substantial piece of kit and would like to know where it may have come from. As always, any help would be appreciated.

That is a lovely piece. Wish I was near enough to borrow it :-)

I have never seen one before.
You could make your money back by renting it out!
