I know, was made over a decade ago but is anyone still running this head?

Many small reptiles are.

I don’t own one but have thought about a way to relocate the spark plug to above the exhaust valve (where it belongs).
Perhaps with a electronic timer it is ok where it is.

I cut mine in half so nobody would be tempted!

A waste of good cast iron. Too bad!

I know a couple other people who did the same thing with theirs. I wasted a day grinding the lousy quality casting to where it looked good, painted it, put it on and fooled with it for a month trying to get it to run right on my speedster. It was one of those they sold with the core so far off the spark plug bosses leaked water. I called him and he said to glue a washer in to stop the leaks. I was running a Stoltz distributor, a Stromberg MB-1 carb and never could get it to run right. I put my Haibe Hi-Power head back on and went back to trouble free.

I agree, they were a waste of good cast iron.

My lizard ran great. I could keep up with the A's on tour.
I wish I'd pulled before sold the car.

did you just bolt it on or did you do any other mods?

Yapp did not drill the steam holes which caused the head gaskets to blow, mostly to the outside but some times to the inside. Roy from Calgary bought one of the three I bought and hauled across the border. Like me, he ground and ground on it, painted it and put it on his speedster, first morning of the tour he blew the head gasket about 20 miles out. The trouble trailer guy took him home. He came back with a head gasket and the old head. We put them on, he took the yapp crapp head and threw it in the ditch, but somebody told him the RCMP would get him for introducing non-native lizzards in to Canada and got it and put it in the trouble trailer.
He drilled the steam holes and put it back on, like most people couldn't get rid of the pre-ignition rattle and took it off and threw it on the iron pile at his shop.
