:roll: Yeah, I think the spelling on the wood plaque is wrong. Too bad too, as it's a beautifully made award, however, the maker must have been mostly focused on his craftsmanship than his spelling, huh? :roll:

Correct spelling is Stynoski. This plaque was under discussion in the 2018 Forum . At that time the owner, Mark Cameron, was a bit offended but the plaque discussion. http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/82 ... 1544114432 It was for sale on eBay back then for $48K. I sent a message to the current seller on eBay. The car is not titled. I suggest that they add a picture of the engine serial number for those that are interested in it. I am not one of them.

UPDATE - New message says the car has a clean Title and the engine serial # 555115

Looks pretty much like the day i finished it 22 years ago. Must have had pretty good storage.
Since completing this car I have also restored a 1909 touring in 2004 and a 1911 touring in 2011 for Stynoski competition along with countless cars for others. I am glad this car has been well cared for. Like seeing an old friend again.

I was part of a judging team that judged cars in this class at the MTFCI National Meet in 1998. Stynoski cars were judged in their respective classes as well as the special Stnyoski class. Honestly, the pictures do not do the car justice. To really appreciate this car you need to be with one foot of it. The attention to detail that Mark and Sheri poured into it is amazing. In many instances where small details were concerned, original scarce parts were carefully restored to like new perfect position.

One example of this that I recall were the front wheel bearing dust shields. New ones were being produced, but the Camerons chose to restore originals which had the manufacture’s name stamped into the shields.

I would have put more stuffing into the top pads! I don't think they sagged like that originally.

It’s a beautiful car but I’ve got a question. The bolts/screws that attach the windshield hinges and the windshield to dash clamps appear bright as if they are nickel plated or bare steel. I always thought those were brass plated?

Yes i brass plated any hardware that was brass plated originally. I agree that the top padding has not aged well. Easy to fix. We had it down plenty of times on tours.
