Aermore Floor pedal extension ideas
Hi all, first post in a very long time. I have a 22 touring and the kids love to stomp on the exhaust whistle, but they are too short to touch seated down. I’m curious to see if there is any other way to hookup besides the floor pedal. Has anybody installed a pull cord or something similar to activate the horn? Thanks

Brian, I use a wire similar to the choke cable and it comes right up at seat level. That way the wifey or I can both tug on it. I’ve got it hooked up so it doesn’t effect the use of the foot pedal. Just my idea.
Sadly , they grow into reaching the floor pedal way too soon. Let them blow away! They will never forget it.

This is how I blow the whistle on my Yellowstone Bus. I need my foot on the throttle to rev the engine while I open the cutout with my hand. It might give you some ideas.

Brian,
I normally connect to the whistle with a small diameter braided stainless steel cable.
That way I don't have to cut my floor boards for the cut-out pedal.
I simply bring the cable up through a crack or small hole and make a top loop in the cable.
It is easy to reach just in front of the seat riser. Works for driver or passenger.......

Or you could try to find an original Aermore hand control for the dash
