Re: Door handle and latch ???
Googling A. L. Hansen door latch brought up this image with no pertinent information. While the handle looks similar to a model A handle there were many garage door and various handles that look like that. A. L. Hansen has made industrial hardware since 1920. It could be that some car maker used it.

I hope someone more knowledgeable than I can help more.Rich

Re: Door handle and latch ???
I INOW! I KNOW! CALL ON ME!! i KNOW!
Well, that is I THINK I know!
Travel Trailer. That style handle was quite popular, and there were even companies that made "knock-off" replacement handles for Model As and other cars, I once saw a flyer for some, it was most interesting as the construction method was identical to the Ford handles. The flat mount, and the thin latching, with the thumb lever reminded me of the little trailer we had when I was a kid. Wasn't very big, but with the bed in the back, and the table up front made into a bed, AND the pull-out one over the table, you could sleep 5. No bathroom, just a stove and fridge/icebox. Most of us kids slept in the Station Wagon. Two trips to Mexico and numerous trips to Death Valley and Dessert Hot Springs with that set up. Four of us Kids, I was 10?; my little sister was a baby at first and then hmm, maybe 3 years old. I don't remember when we stopped doing that, I think when my brothers graduated from high school; about 1968 or so.
