Re: Post Production Model T Service Ad SD
If that statement by Mr Ford is true, then we need to hold them to it. They can start making
more parts that are no longer available. Does that mean every Ford dealer needs to keep parts
on hand as well?

Re: Post Production Model T Service Ad SD
In 1928, would anyone have dared to think thousands of Model Ts would "still be running" ninety years later ?
If Henry Ford really did say that, would it be legally binding ? If so, what recourse would today's T owners have ?
Just out of curiosity, I wonder when the Ford Motor Co. stopped supplying Model T Parts ? That is, not counting NOS left on shelves well into the 1960s which has been recounted occasionally on this forum.

They never specified all parts. I wonder if there’s anything on a T that’s currently available at Ford dealerships. Fan belt, maybe? How about Motorcraft spark plugs?

About the only thing a Ford dealership would have for a T nowadays would be air for the tires. Jim

But is it OEM-spec air ? We don't want the purists finding out they put the wrong
air in their tires !
air in their tires !

You guys are on the right track. The valve cores in today's tires will fit even into Larry Smith's car tires.
24-28 TA race car, 26 Canadian touring, 25 Roadster pickup, 14 Roadster, and 11AB Maxwell runabout

Re: Post Production Model T Service Ad SD
The latest Ford parts list I have is 1941. I'll bet all Ford dealerships stocked Model T parts until after Henry died?

Re: Post Production Model T Service Ad SD
At least one of our local dealers has the Motorcraft SP-405 spark plugs in stock that fit T's. I only know that because I have a part time job that counts dealer inventories for their record keeping and seen them there on the shelf.
