Identify this car

Post by GG Gregory » Sat Mar 28, 2020 6:00 pm

Is this a pre T Ford or something totally different ? I cropped the picture to show just this car. The copy I have is a show from my hometown back in the 1950’s and isn’t real clear.

It looks a little like a REO and a couple dozen other cars.
When did I do that?

I don't think it is a Ford. Not a proper one certainly. The seat isn't right, the rear deck isn't like any NRS model. I can't tell with any certainty whether it is a chain drive or torque tube? It could be a one cylinder Cadillac? They made so many variations! The hubs are too shadowed to be sure either way. Reo and Maxwell also had similarities, but I have certain doubts about both of those, the dash doesn't look quite right for either of them. Then again, they also made several variations. Beyond that? There are hundreds of possibilities.
