TIME OUT!!!!

Post by Dallas Landers » Sat Mar 28, 2020 7:44 pm

I needed a break from working on a 26 Tudor that belongs to a friend. It stopped raining and I needed a fix. I fired up the pickup, told the wife I was going for a drive and headed out. How is this for social distancing ?

About a twenty mile drive through the countryside clears the mind. Afterward it was back to the shop to remove some front perches. Mission accomplished.

Joking aside, I worry about the Amish if the bug gets into one of their communities....

I talked with my Amish neihbors when they 1st started closing things here almost 2 weeks ago. Most said the same thing, that they have been sick for 3 to four days with a dry cough, low fever and no energy at all. It went through the entire families in a couple weeks. Other Amish neihbors sais the same thing. They think they have possibly had it already. They said the hardest part of this is not having church on sunday and family get togethers on thursday evening. They know the important things in life.

I did some social distancing yesterday also.
The kids came over, and took out their 22 touring. My wife and I took the 12. We did around 20 miles also. Best therepy there is.
