I never got to meet or know Tim Kelly in person. However, I came to like him on the forums and seeing his wonderful cars in numerous club tour reports. I could tell he was passionate about the cars, and their history. Even though I never met him, I still miss his presence. I sympathize with those of you that were fortunate enough to know him.
Is this the same video you posted shortly after his passing?

Thank you. Tim was passionate about the cars, their history, and the many friends he had in the hobby. He was especially kind with youngsters, and a great ambassador for our cars with young people. I posted this video in the summer of 2018. I’m slowly rolling through old video and posting them as I think they may appeal......... or, as I approach the bottom of the wine bottle.......

I met Tim once and helped him out when his Model A had an issue. Tim was very appreciative. He passed away, and I have since met his wife Joan and son Jeff. Great family. Looking forward to seeing them again at OCF.

I got to see Mr. Kelly a few times over the years. But one time we just sort of met in the parking lot at Chickasha and started talking about old Fords. Just he and I. He had a lot of experience with more cars that I. but we were, I hope both enjoying the conversation. I was sad to hear of his passing.

Nice to hear from all of you. I first met Tim at the Early Ford Tour at Paynesville MN, preceding the New London to New Brighton tour years ago. He had his Model K and offered me a ride. Within seconds we were effortlessly cruising down the highway at 55 mph, and I said “I thought these cars weren’t any good?” He said “I know,” and from then on, my life as it pertains to early Ford history and the Model K were forever changed.
