Petit Jean Swap Meet Cancelled

It should come as no surprise to anyone these days that the swap meet which was to be held at Petit Jean State Park (AR) in June has been cancelled. If you have reserved a swap meet space, you can either get a refund or roll your payment to next year. They are sending out mailers to everyone today. If you have lodging reserved, you'll need to cancel it. As of now, the Fall swap meet in September is still on. Stay safe out there!

I'm still holding out hope that a safe and effective, fast-tracked vaccine will be available in time to allow the Hershey fall meet to occur. Without a vaccine, large gatherings will remain risky in my opinion, even well after the virus cases peak.
If there's no vaccine by then, I'll be cancelling my hotel reservations whether or not the meet is held or cancelled.

The medical experts say a vaccine will take at least a year, so I expect to be pretty much grounded until next spring. I hope distribution of the vaccine will be handled better than other aspects of the current mess.
