Is there any information on rewooding a 21 model T touring? I don’t need to redo all the wood but some of it is either rotten, bent, broken or missing. I have a nice table saw and a bandsaw, and belt sander but no installation instructions. Thank you. Frank

If the wood structure pieces are still good enough you can use them as a pattern to make some new ones with. You can buy some ash wood to use for the new pieces. Cut them carefully and from then on it’s trial and error to get the piece to fit.
Some will do it this way while others will buy the body wood plans for their paticular car and copy from the plans.
Plans might be had from sources on this forum.

Assume your re-wooding is a 1914 as noted in your profile.

This site has some patterns for 1914 Canadian. May be of help. Or google search : 'mtfca forum 1914 touring wood' and you might find some older posts with photos. Have fun!

Rather than buy ash I would suggest you experiment with some 2x4 pine. Measure the existing space and the make a rough pattern with the pine and start creating your pile of sawdust. I did this on the 17 touring and ended up with a pile about 18” high. Great fun.
Once you get the correct shape, mark it with the location and THEN cut the final piece from the ash.
It takes time but it is great fun.

Great point Tony B. Practice makes perfect for sure. Same goes for all aspects of restoring a T. Use a junk fender to beat on to learn sheet metal straightening, then use the same fender to practice on for spray paint work or just a piece of tin will work fine too for paint practice.
