A generous MTFCA member found the carbide tank pictured and sold it to me after going through it.
I got the carbide tank attaching bolt kit from Lang’s but the square at the top of the neck of the bolts does not pass through the square holes in the base of the tank.
In other words the bolts do not seat properly.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I suppose I could file down the bolts until they fit???
Maybe they have another kit?
Thank you for any advice from those members with more experience. My tank ha 4 square holes in the base.
Two of the bolts replace 2 bolts that go through the running board bracket.
Thanks,
Gene

Re: Bolts for Attaching Carbide Tank
I had that happen on my tank, but in my case it was only 1 of the bolts that wouldn't go in. A few strokes with a file on each of the 4 sides of the bolt shoulder soon made it see things my way.

Re: Bolts for Attaching Carbide Tank
Randall makes the four bolts needed to mount your tank to the running board. I have used them on both of the 13's, and no filing was required.
