26-7 brake band,need 1

Post by tdump » Thu Apr 16, 2020 10:32 am

I made the call this morning to Langs and was going to order a brake band as they were the only vender that I found that sells just the seperate brake band for about 48 bucks.I have 2 new narrow bands so only needed the wide 1. None in stock. Other venders are only showing sets.
I remember reading a while back that there was a shortage but surely by now something has been done. This may be the hold back on getting my chassis up and running.
So what are folks doing for wide transmission bands ?+

Are you referring to the transmission lining ? I have several wide NOS Scandinavia linings on the shelf.

YES I am needing lineing,BUT the fellow that has offered to help me out has the metal part and may have already mailed it. I will use it and I am sure it is better shape than the 1 I have but was going to use.
BUt yes,I needed Lineing.
I wish sometimes I could remember to use the right terms,to me the lining is the band.

Mack be extra careful with your computer getting a virus with hotmail! Also be careful while operating your computer while consuming Corona Beer. Together experts have determined that an at home computer virus can be mutated called "Self Inflected Corona" referred as SIC. This stuff is real and will cause you to get beet red, high blood pressure, and knock the crap out of your computer. Now you are really in the tank because now you have to expose yourself to the REAL germ carriers to get a new computer, and you are taking a chance in the real Corona Virus World!

I must admit,I got angry but I remembered that i didn't give but 30 bucks for this 42 inch plasma monitor screen I have because no one knew how to use it for a "tv" at the christain ministry store I bought it at. To replace it would cost me Way to much! So I can't get to mad at the computer!
