Bolt size question

Post by Belliott3 » Mon Apr 20, 2020 7:52 pm

What size bolt is used to hold the hogshead onto the engine pan? I think it's a 3/8-24 but not sure how long they are supposed to be - thanks!

Bill, that is the size. There are three which go up onto threaded holes where the starter mount. These are shorter and are not drilled for a split pin.

A little common sense should do it! Some are 1 1/8" and some are 1 1/4". Just put the bolt in and see if it works!!!
