We are a sparsely populated rural state and we all think we should be able to park right at the front door. Me included.

Have you ever noticed that in old photos and movies there seems to be little consistency in the way people park and drive? I remember viewing movies from NYC around 1912 and cars were everywhere, dodging in and out & shooting across intersections with wild abandon - driving pretty much anywhere they chose. I guess that's why we have traffic laws and parking regulations today :D

My reply might be a little OT but we went to drive-in church last Sunday, in our Model A. Here's a pic thru the windshield of the preacher in the bed of a truck. He was wearing a mic.
