smile.amazon donation
When I purchase from smile.amazon.com they tell me a donation will be made to MTFCA. Can anyone tell me how much they receive from Amazon? pennies on the dollar?

Re: smile.amazon donation
David, Amazon Smiles donates 0.5% of your purchases to the MTFCA. Doesn’t seem like much but it definitely adds up the more people participate. Every dollar and penny helps!

Re: smile.amazon donation
I try to remember to do this every time. If you get to your cart and realize you're just at amazon.com, just go to the smile.amazon.com website and your cart will be the same as it was. Every once in awhile I forget, but not often. If everyone in the club did this it would really add up!!!

I have found that on some occasions, Amazon Smile prices are a hair higher then Amazon Prime.

Re: smile.amazon donation
It’s a half cent on every dollar spent and Amazon says it doesn’t affect what we pay. If we all did it,it would add up for the organization.
As of February 2020, Amazon has donated $298.58 to the MTFCA. My donation over the years is now at $38.24. If we all did this, the organization would really benefit.
I’m glad this subject came up, it really deserves a more permanent mention on this website.

I should also mention that if you haven’t looked on Amazon for parts, you really should. My kid’s Christmas present was new windshield stanchions for his Model A. The ones I found on a Amazon were identical to the ones at our favorite supplier and cost less.
And they’re still good at books. I bought two Ford books to read while I hide out.
