Model T on Display in Oakland CA

Hi folks,

Back in February, I came upon what appears to be a 1914 Model T Touring that was converted to a pickup on display at the Oakland Museum of California. It's the centerpiece of the Great Depression/Dust Bowl display. Great museum!

That's a museum interactive device on the rear fender, BTW. I'm sure the museum is COVID closed now, alas.

Very cool! Next time you visit, PLEASE suggest to them putting the front top bow in its proper location, that being the higher mounting ears. (A pet peeve of mine. One of many, unfortunately :) )

I think it started life as a 15 or 16, I have it's twin even the same front fenders :D

looks like a 16 roadster, frt fenders are 14 cant tell about rear fenders.i think the box is just sitting there.charley
