I have seen some info in the past where cast iron drums have been made for the "new" Rocky Mountain Brakes.
From what I (think I) understand the "original" Rocky Mountain Brakes, the drums were a larger diamter.

What I would be interested to know is there anyone currently offering cast iron drums (even un-machined castings) for the "new" Rocky Mountain Brakes?

I believe this information has been out before. The cast iron Rocky Mountain brake reproductions came out in the early to mid 1960's, and opposed to the original drums which were stamped steel with and original Ford parking brake drum riveted to it. I don't know this for sure, but I believe the lining made today is too hard to work well on a steel drum. The lining is more effective on a cast iron drum. I have original's on all but one of my T's and they are great brakes. The current owner of the company is the second owner, and he doesn't know where the pattern is for the cast iron drums, or anything else for that matter. They are very simple easy to install brakes, and require no rods or welded on brake pedals. They use a 3/16" cable, and a simple equalizer. Easy to install in an afternoon, with no modifications.

My interest is to see if/what the availability for cast iron drums for them is currently.

I recently sold a set to Scott Conger so maybe he can show them off, they had been lying around for years and thought they could go to use to some one.
