Door upholstery question for 27 fordor
The door upholstery uses a little metal socket and nail to hold the door panels on does anyone know who might have these parts.

Re: Door upholstery question for 27 fordor
I hate the metal socket and one way ratchet nails. Use the model A and after spring clips without the metal sockets. Panels with spring clips can be removed and installed over and over again. The socket and nails are a one time use.

Humble do you just capture the button type heads under the upholstery because they are not meant to be seen only on ends. Thanks for your help

Re: Door upholstery question for 27 fordor
The clips I use are spring clips that slip into a 1/4" or so hole in the cardboard backing of the door panel. The head of the clip is low profile and with the door padding you can not tell its there. The clip can be installed or removed from the cardboard without having to pull back the upholstery material, and the spring snaps into the hole in the body or door where the original metal socket went. The clip can be added to the door panel at any time so it can be off to sew, glue, or package to ship and then installed at a later time. Spring clip allows the door panel to be installed or removed easily, multiple times. I will try to attach a picture from a vendors catalog.
