Who manufactured hinges?
I came into a bucket of hinges, I believe some model A hinges mixed with T, open and closed. After two day’s soaking in white vinegar and then baking soda water to rinse, I noticed a few hinges had names and part numbers. So, who actually supplied Ford with T and A hinges? Any part number list to cross reference? I couldn’t find anything. Thanks!

Shoot. I'm gonna ask...
Which hinges: Door? Fuel tank cover? Trunk?
Late fuel tank door on top?

Re: Who manufactured hinges?
I can’t remember seeing any part numbers on the door hinges of my 3 T’s. One is a closed car and the other 2 open cars. I restored the 3 and didn’t think to look that close at them as far as the door hinges are concerned.

Re: Who manufactured hinges?
It’s possible some of these hinges could be A hinges, I’ll post some pics. BTW, I have read numerous posts and am still confused by them, lol. Early, late, open, closed, straight cut, angle cut, looks like an A hinge, etc. Maybe it’s my “ old age”..... clear as mud, lol

Re: Who manufactured hinges?
Learned another T fact about who manufactured door hinges. Since Ford used a lot of hinges over time I wonder if Ford used the companies avaliable hinges or if he supplied the dimensions and they made them for him.
