I have this exhaust attachment which seems to be for a whistle but I cant find any information about it.

There is a foot control activator on the floor.

The embossing on the back of the unit looks like Cooper, but may not be.

I suspect that the whistle itself is missing.

Does anybody know what it is?

It is a cut out, not made for a whistle, makes cool sounds when activated, Bob

Back in the day it was also called a motor tester which I think is how how Cooper marketed it.
