I need some help

I am in the process of putting window channel felt in my 1923 T coupe . I need to know does the window felt go all the way to the bottom of the window channel , or just the top half of the closed area.Iput a piece in the channel area but the channel area is curved, and will not allow the window to travel to the stored area.Any help is appreciated.
