Sometimes you score such an unbelievable purchase at a swap meet or on EBAY, that you can't control your enthusiasm and you want to tell the world. Such is the case of my recently purchased $15.00 Ford script "Bobber" light, complete with original license plate bracket. The EBAY seller was a motorcycle shop which advertised this 26-27 Ford script accessory stoplight as a "Bobber" light. Yes the red lens is broken and the clear license plate light lens is missing, but I have replacements off of Dodge Brothers stoplights to replace these with and a new replated lens trim piece, too. It'll make a dandy.

Great find Terry. Lots of folks gripe about e-bay. But there are great deals to be found.. That is a rare light.

On another note, the Rajo 4 valve head I bought from you is back on the speedster project engine and ready for "round two" of the start up process. I had a major oil leak on the crankcase and blew the head gasket on "round one". But boy did it sound good for the five minutes I was able to run the engine. Thanks for selling me the head. Its been a fun project.

I’ve got a real nice one going on my 27 TT project. I really like the bigger light housing. My lens says “STOP” on the top part when lit.

The Dodge Brothers Type B stoplight is the same except for embossed logo, but at their prices, I'll pass. I'll be willing to bet that I have more bezels, "stop" silhouettes, red and clear lens that this dealer does.

Yeah, but the only part of a Hall Manufactured stoplight that has Dodge on it is the body, so what if I told you I gave away all my Dodge light parts, and the ones I'm using came from Ford lights?

But it's got Dodge germs on it and that could spread!

To be scientific, (which I nearly always try to be, unless I am telling a tall tale) I think the technical term for Dodge germs is "Dodge Cooties".

My apology, at my age I get easily confused and was thinking, I wouldn't want the Dodge strain.
