So incredible! Such a fine looking car. I do hope everyone involved is rewarded with it being at several major early car events over the next few years. This is an important historic automobile the people need to see and hear!
My thanks to all involved.

Yes, it was a good turnout and people stayed around for quite a while. Will be watching Channel 4 News this evening.

Not sure who actually owns this car, but do they mind all these strangers sitting in it? And if it gets damaged either in a photo op or with all the times itβs being hauled in and out of the trailer, who is responsible? Sorry for asking?

What great peice of history. I was lucky enough to meet Jim in person and see the Model B up close. Listening to Jim tell about this car , you can see his passion for it. Thanks to Jim and Kim Dobbins and others who have that same passion that made this possible. Oh the lure of brass could be catching. All dressed up sporting the brass lights is a real treat. I volunteered to help unload the car and was suprised how these early fords draw you in.
What a great morning!

I was late to the museum.
I arrived at 7:30 am and Dallas was waiting
with some other folks.
We unloaded the Model B for the last time.
Then Dallas fitted the brass lights after
helping unload an Early Ford V-8 engine
on a stand that was donated.
Dallas along with some other folks looked
over the Model Band took some videos.
Then we rolled Alexander into the museum.
The 1904 Ford Model B has been
namedβ Alexander β in recognition of
Alexander Malcomson

Many thanks to Freighter Jim and Director Josh Conrad at the Early Ford V8 Museum in Auburn. We much enjoyed a comprehensive walk-thru of this very rare piece and its various phases of restoration. I'm told the car is now expected to remain at the V8 Ford Museum for at least the next few months. Lots of exceptional 30's and 40's era Ford iron to be seen here.
Regards,
Scott
Thank You Scott

Thank You Scott for driving up today from Cincinnati to look over The Model B.
Your insight and comments were very much appreciated
Thank You To Everyone Who Took Time
out of their day to greet The Model B
as it made itβs way across the country.
Special Thanks To Joshua Conrad
who is the Director of The Early Ford
V-8 Museum.
Josh worked with me for the past year
in anticipation of The Model B coming
to Auburn, Indiana once the work was
done by Kim Dobbins.
For the next (3) months you can see
β Alexander β on feature display at
The Early Ford V-8 Museum.
Alexander will be carefully studied
and interpreted so the true story
of The Ford Model B can be told.
The first museum guests to view
Alexander moments after being
brought into the building were
Tia and Andy of Auburn, Indiana
