What Part is this

So I picked up this Motor for my 1924 coupe looks like it was made June 1921. On the right side of the block there is a housin thats not on the old motor. What its this Part?

Looks like an old cam driven oil pump.

I second that, left on to block the holes that have been drilled in the block.
