1915 runs again!

Post by Retro54 » Sat Aug 15, 2020 8:51 pm

Just thought I'd share a shot and my excitement! Got my 1915 cut-down touring running yesterday, and actually drove a 'T' fir the first time! Even though we have two other T's in the family, I've never been behind the wheel. Yesterday was the first time since the early 1960s the car ran under its own power and just over 1 year and 4 months from when I came into possession of it. While it may look well worn, and it is, dad and I have gone through every mechanical part on the car, and it runs great! A little more mechanical work, a wooden bed to be built, and driving practice is needed and then I'll enjoy it around town, HCCA Events, and the Hershey Fall Meet in 2021!

Andrew, you better go over that route again. I think you lost your back seat. :)

Have a great time with that car.

I think a cutoff touring made into a pickup is very cool! Mainly because that was what was done back in the day to do what was needed to be done. Same thing with tractor conversions, I've always wanted one. Dave
1925 mostly original coupe.
