Painting Inside a 1927 Coupe

I have a 1927 coupe that I want to paint the inside area of the trunk, under the seat etc. There is no major corrosion. There is, of course, surface rust.
What type of surface preparation and what type of paint do you recommend?

I do not know any other way than sand blasting to really clean the metal. If you are doing a frame off full restoration, sandblasting is the obvious choice. But if your body is still on the car with upholstery, glass, engine, etc., forget sandblasting, it will make a mess and sand will get in everywhere you dont want it to go.

Any good primer and paint will do. Something you can add hardener to is better than rattle can. years ago it was enamel or lacquer, now it seems to be enamel or epoxy like paint. Paint the inside trunk the same color as the outside body color.

Don Booth shared a number of improved coupe restorations on prior forum posts. One product he used was Rust Bullet primer which he said could be sprayed or brushed. He does excellent work.
