What should we use to repair a loose neck to the radiator? 1922 coupe. It looks like it has been fixed before.

Remove it and get it to a competent radiator shop that is familiar with antique autos for proper re-soldering.

Save your time and money. Fix it like the old timers did. Keep your credit card in your wallet. Clean the mating surfaces with muratic acid and use flux, solder, and a propane torch to weld it back. Easy to do.

When my radiator filler neck came off I took it to an old time radiator shop. He did a great job and it cost me only $20. I would have spent that much for the materials to do my own repairs and might have produced amateurish results.

Apparently some other "hack" previously attempted an amateur soldering job, Willie !
