NH Carburettor needle taper

A friend of mine here in England called to ask if I could tell him the correct taper angle for his NH carburettor needle. He has several old ones with wear grooves, and they have a fine taper. He bought a new one (which perhaps originates from Snyder's or Bob's) and that has a much 'blunter' taper. It runs but is very hard to adjust as even a few degrees makes a big difference to the fuel area.

Does anyone know the correct taper please?

Maybe he needs a new seat for the needle? It could be the new needle seats are made for the
new needle which has the blunter angle.

I don't know the exact angle, but he might be able to use one of his old needles to make a tool to regrind his new needle to match the angle of the old needle (video courtesy of Steve Jelf):
