Rebuildable wheels needed

Good luck. I wish I had known a little more about wheels when I bought our '21 Touring. I would never have bought a T with non-demountable, wood felloe wheels. I thought the car was a good deal, and it would have been even better if not for the wood felloe wheels.
A word to other potential T buyers. NO WOOD FELLOE WHEELS.
You'll find the wood condition is VERY important unless you are prepared to spend a bunch of money.

Run wood felloe wheels for literally decades, not sure what the issue is against them, they work just fine...

NO WOOD FELLOE WHEELS.

Most Model T's made before 1919 have always had them, and they are fine. What's the problem?

Had a set done last year, it was right at 1300 for four. To change over would involve finding fellows and demountables not to mention spokes. I think the price would be a push. Plus early cars look way better with the right wheels.

The hubs/rims from about 1913ish up should all be about the same as would the rims. The spokes getting round and larger after about 1917 or 18. I am thinking that if you are going to have the wheels rebuilt, rounded or square felloes should not matter, which would open up a larger range of wheels. If this is for a static display, different story. Bruce's book says that both square and rounded fellow wheels could be on cars from 1920 till 1925 depending on who made your wheels. You might add which style wheels you are trying to match. So much for peas in a pod! LOL I have yet to see peas in a pod that were all the same.

I think one wheel on our T has been repaired at some time in the past with a screw in place of one of the rivets, like shown on the ModelTFordFix.com site. There is a swap meet coming up here on Oct 2-3 and I will look for some wheels (and other parts) for our '21 Touring.
My problem with the wheels we have is not being able to build a press and rebuild them myself.
