MTFCA Forum

Since the 2019 changeover from the old forum to the new format, I have not been able to access the 20 years worth of priceless information in old forum, using the MTFCA keyword search and was not aware that there were other ways to access this information until, in the recent “Spring Leaf Silicone” thread, Mark Gregush and Jim Spadefore, posted some very useful information on how to access the old forum using the Google search engine.

I may be the only one who did not know how to do this but if I’m not, I figured this topic deserved a thread of its’ own for easy keyword search access. Anyone who has useful information, regarding keyword searches for accessing the old forum, I would sure like to hear more hints regarding the wording necessary to achieve successful search results. Since you found it useful, I’ll post it again here...

Google allows special formatting to narrow search results. If you type site:mtfca.com first, it will only bring back hits from within the site. You can then just type keywords to search for. For this thread as an example, you’d type site:mtfca.com slip paint to search related discussions.
