What brand tube?
I have four different 30 x 3½ tubes on the shelf. Three are identified.
Hartford ~ China
Custom Classic ~ India
Universal ~ Mexico
But this one has only these markings: Anybody know the seller, or if there's a brand?

Re: What brand tube?
Yes, I know what it means. But who is the USA seller, and is there a brand name?

Re: What brand tube?
Steve, if that's the one I sent you, I get all of my tubes from Universal Tire. Their rubber stem tubes are marked Hartford, but the metal stem tube is marked as you show.
You could try contacting Universal for more information. The next time I remove a pair of metal stem tubes I'll try to remember to tell you how they are marked.

Re: What brand tube?
A MTFCA member in a 2015 post mentions purchasing some tubes from MAC's that were marked Made in Denmark http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/50 ... 1444842198 and suggests a heavier tube
This posting has similar pictures of the tires posted and suggests that the Made in EEC may not be the European Economic Community
http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/11 ... 1290356565
Could be The Eastern Economic Corridor (Abrv: EEC; Thai: ระเบียงเศรษฐกิจภาคตะวันออก, romanized: Rabīang Sētthakit Phāk Tawan-ǭk, RTGS: rabiang settha kit phak tawan ok) officially the Eastern Special Development Zone (ESDZ), is a special economic zone of three provinces in eastern Thailand.

The only tube I'm avoiding is Custom Classic, due to the splitting problem. The other brands I'm using seem to be holding up OK so far.

Re: What brand tube?
Blockleys are now available, and from the photos look to have the correct old time threaded brass valve stems. That will help offset the price premium paid for better quality parts.

Re: What brand tube?
"old time stem" - Schrader 777 size, or the larger 725 size available from the other vendors?

Re: What brand tube?
The Blockley website shows 30 x 3½ tyres and tubes, but not yet 30 x 3 which I'm told is coming. The £29 price is a few cents less than Lang's unspecified make. USA customers do not pay the VAT.
When the time comes to replace my Riversides I expect I'll try some Blockley tyres.

Re: What brand tube?
Steve, when you get your Blockleys, please measure the stems to see what size they are, nobody else seems to know.

But after 12/31/2020, the UK will be out. Nobody knows what that will mean yet.

Re: What brand tube?
Mark, if you go to Blockleytyre.com you can ask them directly. From photos I have seen, and from the owner's passion to provide quality products, i think you will find that they are the smaller diameter ones used in T's.

I won't be buying new tubes anytime soon, so I emailed an inquiry about the stems. We should know pretty soon.

Re: What brand tube?
The abbreviation EEC could also be The Eastern Economic Corridor officially the Eastern Special Development Zone (ESDZ), is a special economic zone of three provinces in eastern Thailand. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Economic_CorridorWill_Vanderburg wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 6:08 pmEEC countries which are now called EU (European Union, since 1993) are Belgium, France, Germany/West Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, United Kingdom, Greece, Portugal, and Spain.
Thailand is the number 1 producer of natural rubber 5 times more than Vietnam
Also Country of Origin rules require that the referenced name be a country the EU is a group of countries not a specific one

Re: What brand tube?
I received a reply on the size of Blockley metal stems. They are the larger .45", the same as on all the other current metal stem tubes. I assume this is to accommodate the reproduction dust covers being sold these days.
