Made it to the other side...for now
I wanted post to see if could while I still can. Very few if any of the people here know that I have been fighting a case of pneumonia since November and have not been able do anything since. Last week I felt like it was all but gone and all would be well till this past weekend. Tonight I found out it is not only still there but has spread to both lungs and don't ask me how they let me come home this time but any worse and I will be in the hospital. So if you don't see me here at least you know I was not left out of the new forum and I will try to pass along updates if I am able or contact someone to post for me if I can't. For now, I will have lots of time to read and look at pictures so please post lots of interesting pictures of projects to keep me from going nuts in this house!!!!
I might even take some time to learn how this internet thing works
YAH RIGHT

Re: Made it to the other side...for now
Thanks to all, day one is going well so far and I feel better already. Then the wind folded the outside door the wrong way on the house and the cold front is here! Gotta love winter and some A-hole named Murphy and his law or some sort. Now I got to tie the door shut till I can fix it and its the only way in and out. Its going to be a long winter.............
Dallas,
That is what I like so will take time to look it over again in large format since I already spent a lot of time working that out in my head on the old forum. I think I know how it all works now but when I first saw your post it took me a while to understand it and you are doing a great job. Now if I see the truck anywhere I will know who it belongs to.

Re: Made it to the other side...for now
Hey there Bob! I was trying some of the new site's search functions, trying to find you. Found this thread I had missed. Get BETTER quick will ya!?
Now, why I was looking for you. On the AACA forum yesterday I saw a for sale link to ebay for an Indiana truck emblem (I guess it is?). Opening bid seems high to me, but what do I know about them. Don't know if you need it? Are interested? Or have more than you know what to do with already.
Anyway, I will try to post a link to see if that works on this new program

Regardless, feel better soon!

Did the pneumonia bit last February and must admit it's no fun. Take care and do what the doctors tell you. Heal fast and fully. Hope your year goes better.
Life is good on the lunatic fringe. Tom

Re: Made it to the other side...for now
Update on what has been going on with me.
I am feeling better but still not back 100% but this time around feels different so it might be under control this time. They found some blood clots in my lungs and leg so now I have more to watch out for and am working on getting that cleared up. Winter is here and so far the snow has been hard on us since I can not do what needs to be done to keep the drive open and now the cold just keeps me inside all the time. This has not been fun and things are going to change when this winter is over. I have been under the weather since November and was not ready for winter at all this year. My tractor is behind all sorts of stuff and Model T parts that I was going to put away and started working on when I got sick. That wont happen again. I am going to sell some things I don't need and make room starting with my 26 that I don't drive much any more and a few other big items in my way. Time to get the brass cars out and get them going and DRIVE THEM!
Come on spring!!!!!!!!!!
