Is this a Model T RPU Box?

Post by Chris Bamford » Fri Sep 18, 2020 9:46 am

Good morning All

This 1928 Essex Super Six was converted to a pickup many decades ago. The metal box is embossed FORD. Is this a Model T box?

This pickup conversion and a companion 1928 Essex SS Sedan are being prepared for sale, and are located in Cardston AB, just north of the Montana border. I have no financial involvement, just helping the late owner's beloved find a new home for these relics.

They pair are to be sold as a package deal and really, the box should stay with the truck — having said that, what might be the FMV of the box alone if new owner decided to sell it separately?

Thanks in advance!
